Watching the Rain and Looking for a Break in the Grey

Last summer I went out for a drive and ended up in rural Linn county. I came across an old mill that I have passed my whole life, but never took the time to stop. I took a chance and asked an older man mowing a near by field if I could cross the fence take some photos. After a short conversation I had jumped the gate and started to walk down a gravel road towards the mill. 2 hours later, I had found a park ranger, taken a tour of the whole structure, and shot a lot of photos. To top it off, the ranger actually started the water powered mill for me. Over 100 years old and still runs like a (kind of rusty) swiss watch. It is now a park and is actually open to visitors... Not just trespassing college students.

I had posted some pictures in the past, but thought I would add some more.
