This Is War - Memories of Iraq

This Is War is an eye opening documentary on a battalion of Oregon National Guard soldiers that were deployed to Iraq in 2004. It was made with first hand interviews and perspectives through the troops own handheld footage. All of the images were captured by the soldiers as they patrolled, rested, and dealt with the dangerous life as a soldier. The film does a very good job at showing what our soldiers do, how they survive, and the cost of war. Its not political. It is the reality on the ground.
