Ok, all of these photos were complete screw ups. I have no control over shutter speeds and all that jazz. So, if it gets a little dark, I get a few ghosts. Not real ghosts (I don't think), but the appearance of ghosts. This happens a lot and most of them I chuck in the digital trash, but these I kinda like.

I think everybody has their personal preferences. I happen to love Canon and I expect I'll probably stick with it longterm. I would say the money spent on a good camera is worth it and the money spent on great lenses is even better. Do your research, read reviews, read about/talk to other photographers about what pieces of gear they find most important in their work.
