A Ship's Last Storm

I took these photos at the mouth of the Indian River on Dominica.  The second and third pictures show an ocean tug (I think) and 2 tankers that have run aground. When I asked around about why, I was told they are hurricane left overs. It is normal to see the damage of previous hurricane seasons for years upon years. No one has or wanted to spend the money to remove them from the shore line. So, there they sit and probably will sit for years to come. Slowly becoming a usual piece of the coastal landscape until another devastating storm slams ashore and moves the rusty wrecks.

Its hull was bent and battered
From the storms of life I could see
Waves were rough but that ole ship kept sailing
Is that the ole ship of Zion I see.
